About the artist

My name is Ty, and I am a self-taught artist from Ohio. I am currently 26 years old and still growing and exploring my art journey daily.

As a child I’ve always been interested in colors, stickers, markers, and crayons anything artistic I could get my hands on was pure euphoria. As I became older somewhere along the way, I either told myself that becoming an artist was not possible, or someone along the way told me to think of other things to do just in case. Either way, I changed my mind and decided to go off and be other things, non-art related. Still creating here and there, for the most part, my art journey was stagnant, and I wasn’t creating much at all.

Eventually, I found art again, or art found me again, but something snapped, a light cut on, and a flame sparked. I began creating more and more, little by little over the last 4 or almost 5 years and I have finally decided to listen to my inner child and chase after my dream of pursuing art and taking myself seriously as an artist.

I am still finding my voice, and my style in art, making up for all those years I was not using my creativity, strengthening my skills, or just believing in myself and all of the endless potential inside of me. I want to spend the rest of my life aiming for the best version of myself possible while also elevating people to want to do the same for themselves and others. I plan on using my art and platforms to speak that message to my community.
